This position plays a key role in supporting the strategic and financial needs of Legacy Publishing Company.  This position reports to the company President to provide the financial management and business analytical support, to this privately held company. This person takes the lead in expense control, revenue analysis, business decision support, and the daily, weekly and monthly reporting activities.  This person is a key partner supporting management/ownership in maximizing revenue, cutting costs, and maintaining and developing key internal business metrics and drivers as the organization continues to grow.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports, and revise and updates reports as needed and based on end user feedback.
• Maintain financial statements, including but not limited to; income statements, cash flow, and balance sheet.
• Responsible for providing effective financial controls for the organization, including management of a Purchase Order System.
• Manage finance department staff to achieve performance levels necessary to provide accurate and reliable management of company finances and financial reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in financial management
  
• Strong analytical skills
  
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with all levels.
  
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize a number of time-sensitive tasks
  
• Knowledge of information systems technology is also desirable
